| The Sugar Hill Sleigh Bed |

| This bed is constructed with mortise and tenon joinery at all permanent joints. Every slat is hand-cut from two-inch thick cherry, finishing nearly 1 inch thick. The rails above the slats are contoured on both sides to match the curve of the slats. Posts are 1 ¾ inches thick, side rails are 1 ¼ inches thick and 8 inches deep. |
| The bed has iron support brackets for a box spring and mattress*. The Queen and King sizes have additional supporting cross rails for the box spring. |

| *We recommend a combined mattress and boxspring thickness of not more than 17" to avoid obscuring the headboard and footboard slats. Most mattress manufacturers offer a low-profile boxspring (about 4" thick) for use where a deep mattress up to 13" thick is desired. | ||
